Hopeful VP Candidates For Trump, Like Ramaswamy, Crowd To Shush Money Trial: 'America First'

Supporters of the former president were present at the Manhattan court where Donald Trump's hush money trial is being held, including vice presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy. Throughout the month, a number of prominent figures visited the courthouse, including Staten Island Representative Nicole Malliotakis, Florida GOP congressman Byron Donalds and Cory Mills, Sens. J.D. Vance, Tommy Tuberville, and Rick Scott, and Governor Doug Burgum of North Dakota.

According to accusations, Trump participated in a conspiracy to allegedly 'mistresses', such as adult film actress Stormy Daniels, with money before the 2016 election.

Mike Johnson was in the courthouse on Tuesday. The Speaker of the House denounced the justice system as "corrupt" and called the Trump case a "sham." The Louisiana Republican attacked Michael Cohen, a former Trump supporter who is now a crucial witness in the case, calling him a man who has "trouble with the truth" and who is "clearly on a mission for personal revenge" in statements made to media outside the courthouse.

According to Johnson, "people are losing faith in this country and in our justice system right now." He stated, "I am one of the hundreds of millions of people and one citizen who is deeply concerned about this, and I came here again today on my own to support President Trump."

Vivek Ramaswamy, a previous contender for president in 2024, attacked Cohen, Biden, and the trial judge. In response to the claims, Trump declared, "The Speaker of the House is here, and Vivek Ramaswamy is here." Byron Donalds is here. There are many wonderful folks here.
